DigInfo - http://www.diginfo.tv The Victor Company of Japan exhibited its real-time 2D/3D converter at the Digital Content Expo 2008 show. The company revamped the processing engine of the converter that it displayed at CEATEC and enabled processing for both 720p and 1080p resolution. Real time conversion between 2D and 3D formats is implemented with an exterior mounted module and the images are shown on a display that is covered with a polarizing film. Polarized glasses are then worn to view the converted images in 3D format.
